OR blog #20
In the book No exit, one of the three prisoners states that she thinks they have been placed in prison together to torture each other. This shocked Estelle, she claims she made a mistake because she married a man she did not love but refused to cheat on him. Garcin says that he died standing up for his principles: he claims that he ran a pacifist newspaper and refused to fight when war broke out. But Inez says that they should all stop lying to each other, explaining that they are all damned souls who deserve to be in hell. Then Inez and Estelle start fighting because they can't find a mirror and are starting to think they don't exist anymore.

OR blog #19
In the book No Exit the three prisoners realize that being locked up together is pure torture. They are trying really hard to get along but they keep finding reasons to fight and not like eachother. But after a while they realize that they actually have a lot in common and all went through really tough and disturbing times. So they agree to get along and just ignore their differences seeing as though they are going to be locked up together for a very long time.

OR blog #18
The three prisoners in the book No Exit shared why they are there. Garcin was shot by a firing squad for attempting to desert during a war. Inez had been a postal clerk and thinks that she is in hell for seducing a friend's wife, her lover killed them both by leaving the gas on while she was asleep. And Estelle's there because she drowned the baby of her lover.

Im reading the book No exit by Jean-Paul Sartre. There are a couple main characters in this book. One is Garcin, he is a journalist from Rio and the best of the three prisoners at dealing with damnation. Another one is Inez she is the second prisoner and also the most hostile. Estelle is the third and final prisoner and she is also the most frightened. Finally Valet, a taciturn representative of the devil.

In the book No Exit the main characters meet in prison and the valet locks them up. They all get to know eachother. They tell eachother about why they are there and what happened. They didn't like eachother at first but after hearing all thier stories they had more in common and got along better.
