Siddharth blog assignment #4

Hello, my name is Govachena and I am a very good friend of Siddhartha. I have been right next to him throughout his search for Nirvana. I think that Siddhartha did truly achieve Nirvana and his goal. I saw that after he left Kamala he learned that having a lot of material goods doesn't make you any happier.
Siddhartha learned many lessons. One lesson he learned was that you don't need material goods to be happy. He learned this after leaving Kamala, he learned that living a material good life is not what he was sent out for. Kamala and all the material goods only made Siddhartha sad and depressed.
I would say that I am very happy that Siddhartha reached his goal and is happy im very pleased with him. I think he had a lot of bad experiences in his journey but I feel like they bettered him. And that you need to make mistakes and have bad experiences to achieve the good experiences and the true meanings in life.

I like how you're taking on the characters in the novel and writing from their perspectives. Do you (not just Govachena) agree that you have to make mistakes and have bad experiences to achieve good experiences and true meanings in life? I think that's an interesting thought...and while I tend to agree, I wonder if we only think it's that way so we can justify the bad things in life :)
