Conversation between Govinda and me (Govachena)
Govinda: Hello Govachena, it's me Govinda
Me: Hi Govinda, how have you been lately
Govinda: Today me and Siddhartha were listening to the Buddha and I decided to follow the path, thinking Siddhartha would come too. But he didn't, he told me I needed to follow my own paht and that he is going to leave me.
Me: Oh that is too bad, but I wouldn't get too down on yourself. I think this will be a great opportunity for you. Plus you can't follow Siddhartha around for the rest of your life.
Govinda: Ok thanks Govachena, that really helps. I will try to follow the path on my own.
Me: Yes, no problem! Good luck I will talk to you later.
Govinda: Ok good bye
I think that Govinda had a typical reaction to this situation. But I feel as though he should get over it as soon as possible and just follow his own path. He should also realize he really does need to go follow the path on his own and think for himself instead of just following Siddhartha around and doing what he does.

I love that you've taken on this character Anna. I read Siddhartha quite a few years ago but your posts are making me remember why I liked it so much. I like your conversation re-cap here, and it really gets to the heart of where Govinda is at at the moment.
