OR blog #8
I just read section eight and nine of Night by Elie Wiesel. And that is the end of the book. I really enjoyed this book it was filled with many events and adventures. It also kept me interested in it through out the whole book because there were so many different things going on with Eliezer and his family and all the other prisoners. In these sections Eliezer's father becomes very weak and ill and is reaching death. Eliezer trys to help by bringing him soup but selfishly wants it for himself because they don't often get fed. His father died later from being beat by his "roommates" and from not enough food and water. Eliezer stays in Buchenwald thinking only of food. The American Army comes and saves the remaining Jews from the camp and they all ran off searching for food. Later Eliezer got food poisoning and became very ill. And for the first time he looked in the mirror since before the camp and saw a corpse. And that is what happened in the last sections of the book Night.
